On April 2, 2012, Ennis Traffic Safety Solutions and Flint Trading, Inc. merged to become Ennis-Flint, Inc., a worldwide leader in the traffic safety and pavement marking industry. Together as one, we provide the best, most reliable and longest-lasting pavement marking and traffic safety solutions anywhere on the globe without losing sight of the fact that our local relationships are what make and keep us strong. In 2020 PPG created the business unit Traffic Solutions with the acquisition of Ennis-Flint.

Ennis-Flint by PPG was founded to help make roads, airports, and pedestrian areas safer for everyone. We allocate considerable resources to meeting this goal in the form of developing new, advanced materials that lead the traffic safety industry in performance and reliability. We are on the cutting edge of current traffic marking and safety technology.

Our commitment to traffic safety goes beyond individual projects to include heavy involvement in local, national, and international traffic safety committees. As we continue to grow and expand, we hope to maintain a local impact on a global concern–the safety and security of pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers everywhere.

The business unit will manufacture and supply a broad, global portfolio of pavement-marking products, including paint, thermoplastics, and other advanced technologies, to customers in government, military, contracting, commercial infrastructure, engineering, and architecture. The newly formed business unit will also partner with PPG’s mobility team to identify opportunities to supply innovative coatings to help support infrastructure needs that enable autonomous driving and enhance future autonomous, connected, electric and shared vehicle solutions.

The Traffic Solutions business unit joins PPG’s Architectural Coatings, Aerospace, Automotive Refinish, and Protective and Marine Coatings strategic business units as part of PPG’s Performance Coatings reportable segment.

We have found that G P Roadway Solutions have trained knowledgeable people who are able to represent our Ennis-Flint by PPG traffic solution products in Hawaii and the pacific region.
