Peterson Sign Company started the year with the return of Hawaii’s Pro Bowl and lots of activity at the Aloha Stadium. Work actually began in mid-December of 2010, but this annual two-month project kicked the year off in style! It required staff to remove existing treatments at the Aloha Stadium, install all new Pro Bowl treatments, then immediately following the game, return the stadium to its pre-Pro Bowl state. There was also work at the stadium(?) for Proctor & Gamble, the NFL and various NFL affiliated entities, making for a very busy schedule.
Other work that was completed at the Aloha Stadium included the Oceanic Cable Business Class VIP box banners at both end zones and the rebranding signage for “Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium”.
In addition to work at the stadium, the following projects kept PSC pumping out products that showcased its sign delivery versatility:
Honolulu International Airport | New signage at the international arrivals gate for the 2011 APEC |
APEC | Banners throughout the Ko Olina Resort |
Polynesian Adventure Tours | Double-decker bus vehicle wraps |
All UHCC campuses | Photovoltaic directories |
Honolulu Star Advertiser | Monument sign in Kapolei and Tower signage at Restaurant Row/Waterfront Tower |
Better Brands | Rebranding to Young’s Market Company in Waipio |
American Savings Bank | New branch signs in Chinatown, Kapahulu, Liliha, Mililani and Salt Lake |
Sea Life Park | New signage and on-going upgrades utilizing the PSC graphic design team |
Closing out 2011, planning has once again begun for the upcoming Pro Bowl.
