The ACZ-350 is a crash cushion that consists of an integrated steel nose and water-filled, steel reinforced plastic segments. The system is NCHRP Report 350 Test Level 2 and Test Level 3 compliant as a non-redirective, gating crash cushion. This potentially partially reusable crash cushion is easily transported and assembled with no roadway anchors. Ideal for use in work zones.

Its design protects errant drivers from impacting concrete barrier ends and also prevents the errant vehicle from vaulting into the workzone. 

Assembly and Maintenance

• The ACZ-350 can easily be unloaded and positioned without cranes or heavy equipment
• Assembly involves three steps:
  • Unload
  • Position and pin barrier sections
  • Fill segments with water
• No foundations or anchoring necessary
• Easy clean up after impact
